For a bunch of guys doing an early Spring golf trip, we're hoping just to have decent weather to play a few rounds of golf. John's place, however, changed that dramatically. It is as advertised but so much more. The serenity and beauty are unmatched. So much so that we looked forward to relaxing after golf as much as playing golf. John keeps a spotless and well kept house. Needless to say, we'll be back again.

We were in Columbia to watch our little town of 350 compete in our first state final 4 appearance in school history! We have littles and had other family with us as well so staying in a house was a better choice for us than a hotel. John’s house was cheaper than a hotel and provided way more amenities than you’d receive at one as well. We needed extra linens, I messaged him and he was very quick to respond to me and lead me in the direction of where I could find some. This place was also GORGEOUS and SO nice to be out of the craziness of the middle of Columbia. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We had a wonderful stay! Our host, John, was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. The house itself was amazing—beautiful, very clean, and easy to access. It comfortably accommodated our large family and made our time together very enjoyable. We also experienced a major change in our schedule, and John’s understanding and flexibility helped take a lot of stress out of the situation. His willingness to work with us really made a difference. We’re very grateful for the hospitality and hope to visit again in the future!

This was exactly what me and my bestfriend were looking for! We stayed one night to see Buffalo Traffic Jam and the check in was super easy! We felt right at home and the bed was so comfortable!!

I can’t describe how beautiful of a location it is. Nice for a morning walk to take in the sunrise and at night with the sunset!! Very quiet and well maintained!!! John is a great host and will always be there for anything!! Looking to staying there again in the future!!

Johns place is the perfect oasis not far from the city. It really encompasses the beauty of both forest and a small lakeside oasis. There is even a hiking trail on site! Just a really lovely property all around. The room was well appointed and very warm even though it was extra chilly outside. In general would 100% recommend for any occasion.

This is the second time my family has stayed on this property. The first was in the two-bedroom apartment next to the house. We were so curious about the house because it looked very nice. And it didn't disappoint! This time we stayed with another family in the house. Our boys participated in a shooting sports event just down the road, and it was a two-day event, so we needed a place to stay since we live over two hours away. There was plenty of room with the three bedrooms and numerous comfy couches. It was Valentine's Day, so we cooked a big dinner. The kitchen was very nice and well-stocked. The game room was a hit! Numerous games of cornhole and Yahtzee were played in one evening. We loved the coffee nook, but really enjoyed our dinner around the dining table. The views are amazing! We will be renting this house numerous times in the next three or four years as our son continues his shooting sports career. Thanks, John, for your wonderful house and gracious communication.
